Japan CKD vehicles, stripped packed and shipped by container.  

JAP Express is a bulk auto-parts export specialist. We run 3 fully equipped car dismantling yards in Kyoto Japan and  provide a full range of CKD complete knock down car dismantling services.  We have a full-time team of experienced vehicle dismantling staff, hundreds of Japan and Euro cars and engines available for selection.

We'll CKD your cars, pack your container with care and then ship it safely to the port nearest you.

EXTERIOR

  1. Engine/Transmission/Suspension 
  2. Axles (as required)
  3. All doors, fenders, panels, bonnet and truck/tail-gates
  4. Fenders both inner and outer
  5. Wheels, Alloys and tyres including spare 
  6. Head lights, Tail lamps all electrical
  7. Bumpers front and rear
  8. Fuel pump, ABS units, Windscreen washer tank 
  9. Front Glass* (subject to availability)

INTERIOR

  1. Seats front* (Sports type, leather or Recaro only) 
  2. Dash board assy (excludes air-bag)
  3. Steering wheel, console shroud and ignition
  4. Gear shifter and shroud
  5. Stereo, Audio, Speakers 
  6. Air cleaner box assy
  7. Heater fan motor
  8. Parcel tray and cargo blinds, 
  9. Sun visors and floor carpet mats 

DANGEROUS GOODS - (Japan law forbids the cntr export of the following ) 

  1. Diesel, Gasoline or Oils
  2. Battery's
  3. Pre-tensioner seatbelts (used)
  4. SRS Air-bags (used) 

Here's How it Works

We provide a complete knock down service, nose cuts, half cuts, engines, suspension, all body parts etc, and we also outsource a range or loose part to top up your container.  Our factories are fully equipped and our staff come with 20+ years experience


Bond Deposit: To confirm an order we require a 25% bond deposit. Your deposit is secure and will be credited towards your purchase.

Stock Selection:  you can either select from our stock inventory direct from our on-line auction, or otherwise, send us a list of the vehicles you need and we'll get them for you from auctions, wholesalers and our dealer network. We can also top up your cntr with 30~40 extra engines, suspensions, nose cuts and loose parts    

Time frame: We have 3 dismantling yards working simultaneously, and can usually complete your order within 15~21 days   


Container Vanning:  We'll load your container neatly and professionally, we'll label everything and make sure all fragile items are shrink wrapped to ensure they arrive safely.    


Shipping: Once the container is fully loaded, we'll send the cntr back to port and submit all the required documentation for Japan side customs clearance. 


Payment: final payment is due once the container is fully loaded and doors sealed. You'll receive a confirmed Packing List, Final Invoice, detailed Photos of the loading and scanned copy of the B/L 


Ocean Freight: shipping can either be pre-paid or collect.  


Documentation: All required documents including shipping B/Ls quarantine declarations will be sent to you by express courier.

FAQs

  • Warranty on Engines

    All of our engines are thoroughly inspected prior to sale, and we offer a 6 month quality guarantee on all Japan domestic sales. Simply return the engine w/in 6 months for a full refund of your purchase price. (receipt and engine number identification required) - Export engines not included*

  • Shipping & Japan Side Customs

    We handle all the red-tape and documentation required to have  your container pass safely through Japan customs and cleared for shipment.  

  • Recycle Certificates

    Every Half-Cut or Stripped-Out vehicle must have an accompanying ‘recycle certificate’ to clear Japan side customs. In order to get a recycle certificate it is mandatory to surrender ALL of SRS Air-bags and Pre-tensioner seatbelts of that vehicle.  

  • Prohibited Items

    Flammables, Battery’s, Pre-tensioner Seatbelts, SRS Airbags are prohibited 

  • Nose Cuts , Half Cuts and CKD

    Nose Cuts: We cut through the chassis rails and supply the entire front end complete. 

     Half Cuts: We remove the front glass and cut through the A & B pillar , then we pull back the carpet and cut across the floor giving you a complete front half of the vehicle

     Stripped our Body Shell: The benefits of completely stripping out a body shell is that it may enable you to import the vehicle as parts, and then reassemble the vehicle on arrival*  

  • Engines , Transmissions and Suspension

    We stock hundreds of engine/transmissions for sale and we can also out source them from our supplier network which can added to your order

  • What's a Cut List:

    A cut list is a list of instructions telling us how you want each car to be dismantled and what parts you want included or discarded

  • How many CKD cars will fit into a Container?

    Fully dismantled we can fit 12 cars into a 20Ft and approx. 25 - 30 in a 40ft 


  • What is Drayage?

    Drayage is the cost to transport a container from the port to our yard for loading, and then returning it to the port ready for shipping. Drayage costs Y125,000 ~ Y150,000  per container (depending on distance, location and weekend or public holidays)
