JAP Express has been shipping car, Parts and motorcycles to
Maldives for over 12 years - All vehicles imported to Maldives from Japan
must be containerized. In a 20ft container you can fit 2 vehicles and in a 40ft
container we can load 5 - 6 units (depending on size)
Here's how it works:
1. First we'll need your full contact details including company
name, address, email and phone number
2. We'll set you up with direct on-line auction
access, enabling you to see all Japan auctions and select from 150,000 cars sold
weekly
3. Auction view-only access is Free, but if you'd like to place active
bids, then we'll need a bond deposit which is 25% of the intended bid value. There is no fee for cars not bought and if you decide to opt out, we'll
refund your deposit in full.
4. Most of our clients from the Maldives are buying late model accident grade cars. We offers both a new and used parts service and can supply all parts which we'll add them to the container when loading.
5. Once you've purchased sufficient goods , we'll book and load the container. We'll also take care of everything Japan side, including shipping, customs clearance, and all documentation.
6. All container ocean freight rates are quoted up to the port of Male and will take approx
30 days. Exact cost will vary pending availability and season but is usually approx. $4,500 USD --- (40ft HQ - for *20ft Cntr ocean freight rate approx. US$3000) Transshipment to other ports may incur additional cost.
7. A bond deposit of 25% of the total FOB value is required for all purchased inventory. JAP Express may at our own discretion, opt to withhold documents for in-transit shipments until such time the bond deposit for unshipped inventory is paid.
8. All items supplied and shipped remain the property of JAP EXPRESS until paid in full.
