With the JDM buzz starting to wear off, a new focus is emerging: Japan’s supercars.

With the USD/JPY exchange rate making Japanese cars increasingly attractive to overseas buyers, Japan is becoming a growing destination for those looking to acquire high-end performance cars.

The appeal goes beyond the exchange rate. Many of these cars have spent their lives garaged, carefully maintained, and meticulously serviced, and most come with comprehensive service histories. Add Japan’s generally smooth roads and strong vehicle-maintenance culture, and you can find supercars that have been treated exceptionally well.

A combination of Left & Right hand drive vehicle, in excellent condition, low milage, with documented maintenance and especially the weakened Japan Yen, makes the Japan Supercar market very attractive to overseas buyers. 


There are hundreds of super cars running thru Japan's weekly auctions, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Rolls-Royces, Bentley, Porsche, AMG and more.

At JAP Express we handle the whole process including pre-purchase inspections, auction purchase, in-land transport, safe warehouse storage, documentation and shipment via ro/ro or container.

  • Payment Terms

    Before bidding we require a 50% of the intended bid-value, as a bond deposit. This will be credited towards your purchase should your bid be successful. If your bid is not successful, then you can opt to continue looking for another Supercar to purchase, or otherwise we will refund your deposit in full. 

    For successful bids, the full balance is due within 7 days of purchase. Cars will be shipped following payment confirmation.   

  • Export and Handling Fees Explained

    For Supercars, we charge the Car cost + auc buyers fee + in-land transport + 5% of the total purchase price.  (Ocean freight be it ro/ro or containerized is fees are not included). 

    Sales tax is not charged, bc the sales tax can be re-claimed by the exporter after shipment, However this can take up to 4 ~ 6 month to collect. 

  • What is the preferred method of export?

    The Supercars can be shipped by ro/ro but we recommend shipping inside container for safely and security 

  • Are the Japan Supercars LHD or RHD?

    Supercars are usually LHD which is desirable in Japan bc it carries a certain prestige/exotic image. However there is a few RHD cars available (approx 10% of the fleet) and  when available they can usually be purchased for a considerable less.
